How to Apply to LCST

Any candidate who has at least a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent is qualified to participate in any of our courses and workshops. We also accept candidates who are nominated by their employers or sponsors. To apply for any of the courses listed, the applicant must send the following information by fax or e-mail attachment to the Course Director:

• A Completed application form downloaded from our website
• A Letter of nomination from the sponsor or employer
• Evidence of financial sponsorship

Please fax or scan and send via email attachment the nomination letter and completed application form to the Course Director at (fax) 020 7312 5451. Approved English Language Qualifications
Applicants from non majority English speaking countries must have a United Kingdom Border Authority (UKBA) ‘approved’ English language qualification before starting a programme of study at LCST. You should check the UKBA website for the most up to date criteria and to ensure you send the right proof of test with your application. If your English meets the standard required for entry to the UK, but we find it is not sufficiently advanced to enable you to follow your course of study we reserve the right to request you undertake an English Language course before continuing in your subject area.

Please fill in the application form and send it with:

• a copy of your English language qualification
• a copy of your educational qualifications, which must be at a minimum level of QCF (Qualifications and Credit Framework) level 3, GCE’s, ‘A’ levels or an equivalent level of qualification from your own country
• a copy of the information pages and photo in your passport
• A completed ‘financial statement’ form.

Upon receipt of your application we will assess whether your qualifications meet the minimum standard laid down by UKBA (Home Office). We may check the validity of your qualifications and we will assess the information you have given us in your application form. Where your qualifications and application meet the minimum standard for entry to a course, we will offer you an interview, either in person or by telephone, before accepting you for a course at the College.
If you are offered a place to study at LCST, it will be subject to payment of your fees/deposit.

It is important that you check the visa requirements with the British embassy in your country. You will be expected to be able to show that you have sufficient funds to enable you to study in the UK (see guidelines for entry into the UK).
